Our dear father, HG Bishop Pham, Bishop of Tema and Abbot of St. Yassa Monastery, Departed on Sunday evening 25/2/2018 at 8 pm London time, 10 pm Cairo time.
His Grace had traveled to England capital, London for treatment few days ago. The medical team in London and Cairo had made great efforts to treat him. But the Lord wanted to relieve him of his burdens, so his soul departed to rest at the Lord whom He loved.
Life of the Triple Beatified, HG Bishop Pham
– Tobia Ishaq Khair (secular name) born on 1 February 1945 and belongs to the family of “Sakla” in Akhmim, Sohag governorate. – Bachelor of Engineering Department of Mining in 1967. – Joined St. Bishoy monastery of in Wadi El Natroun in June 1977 and ordained as monk Mina Anba Bishoy in December of the same year. – Received the degree of priestess in July 1979. – He was ordained as Bishop of the Tema Parish, Sohag Governorate in May 1980. – Enthroned in June 1980. – He departed on 25 February 2018. May his soul rest in peace and condolences to his beloved children, congregation and to the Holy Synod.
