HG Bishop Ermia, General Bishop and head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center received, On 6 March 2018, a Hungarian delegation at the headquarters of the Center at the Cathedral of St. Mark in Abbassia.
The delegation included: Sylvester Bosch, Hungarian Foreign Affairs Undersecretary, Péter Kveck, Ambassador of Hungary in Egypt, and András Kovács, Director General of the Middle East and North Africa Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Hungary.
The meeting came to discuss and consolidate Egyptian-Hungarian relations. The meeting dealt with a number of issues between the two countries.
