With parental love, His Eminence Anba Ermia, General Bishop and head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, offered condolences for the departure of late notable William Habib Wanis, father of Shenouda William at the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center in Anba Ruiss Cairo and Atef, Awataf, Souad, Maha and Josepg. His Eminence was accompanied by a high-level delegation from the directors of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center and ME Sat channel.
His Eminence was received by a number of priests of the churches of Al-Kosheh and the family of the deceased, and a large gathering of his friends and lovers who came to offer consolation.
During his sermon, His Eminence asked for his soul rest in peace and condolences to his wife, children and loved ones. He also offered his condolences on behalf of His Eminence Anba Wissa, Metropolitan of Al-Balina and affiliated areas and attending priests.
Before returning to Cairo, His Eminence held thanksgiving prayer at the home of the deceased and offered condolences to his wife and children.
Funeral was held on Thursday morning at the Church of the Archangel Michael – Al-Kosheh – Sohag.
