The first activities of school of Christian Theology and Doctrine in Sydney, Australia will take place next Thursday, under the patronage of HG Bishop Daniel, Bishop of Sydney.
The School of Theology and Doctrine is the first school of Coptic Orthodox seminary in Australia.
According to church sources, the school academic year will be starting from the new Coptic year. It includes subjects such as “Coptic history, the heritage of the Christian fathers, and the rituals of the Coptic Church.”
The sources pointed out that it is possible that some of the bishops of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Egypt, will deliver lectures as visiting lecturer during the first school academic year, during their pastoral visits to the Sydney Diocese.
