Maj. Gen. Sayed Nasr, Governor of Kafr Al-Sheikh, accompanied by Major General Ahmed Saleh, Assistant Minister of Interior and Director of the Security of Kafr Al-Shaikh, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Abu Zaid Al Amir, Coordinator of the Egyptian Family House, representing the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar Al Sharif, and HG Bishop Ermia, General Bishop, Assistant Secretary General of the Egyptian Family House, representing HH Pope Tawadros II Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the see of St. Mark, and a number of leaders of Al-Azhar and the Church, inaugurated on Saturday, January 27, 2018, the new headquarters of the Egyptian family house in Kafr El-Sheikh.
Maj. Gen. Sayed Nasr, Dr. Mohamed Abu Zeid, and HG Bishop Ermia also signed a despatch of support to President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, President of the Republic, for a second term, supporting security, and stability.
Signatories stressed on their support to elect President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, President of the Republic, for a second term in order to complete the national development project that he initiated for the good of Egypt and its people.
In his speech, HG Bishop Ermia, General Bishop, Assistant Secretary-General of the Egyptian Family House, said: “Egypt has succeeded in following the path of development. Egypt has passed the critical stage and that there is an internal and external war against the Egyptian state.
We need the unity of the citizens with the army and state institutions. We thank the Lord, we have achieved stability, and we support the candidacy of President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi for the presidency of the Republic for a second term, The President who terminated difference and discrimination between the people of Egypt ».
He added: “October 1973 war was the best model for the unity of the brethren of the homeland, pointing out that there will be a dialogue with the students of Kafr El-Sheikh University. We all pray that God to preserve the homeland and we have to know the dangers facing Egypt as everyone has a role to overcome this critical stage. Egypt was a home for all the refuge and prophets and Egypt will remain the country of security and safety for all ».
