Issuance of building a church license decree by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in honor of the martyrs of St. Mina Church terrorist attack, which was signed at the end of last December, coinciding with the Coptic celebrations of the glorious Nativity feadt, Bishop Basanti, Bishop of Helwan and Ma’asara, considered the the gift from the president to the Copts on the feast turned their sadness into joy.
The size of the church is about one thousand and 500 meters, with a service building attached to it, according a statement of Bishop Basanti for “ElWatan”it is scheduled to be built in Hdaeq Helwan, and the remains of the martyrs will be transferred to the Church after completion.
“It was the surprise of the feast for all of us, and the families of the martyrs are joyful because the president cares about them and their children,” said Ishaq Ghali, the secretary of Bishop Binti.
“This church show the extent of the President humanity and that the new church will include a shrine to honor the martyrs, as all people from all over the world will visit it to get blessed” he said.
