HH Pope Tawadros II, welcomed on Monday, HG Bishop Lucas the Ethiopian, Holy Synod of the Ethiopian Church secretary, accompanied by two Ethiopians priests , Father Abram, and Father Dcelin the two priests of the Ethiopian community in Egypt and responsible of the Ethiopian Christian community in Egypt.
The meeting was attended by HG Bishop Beyman, Bishop of Nakada and Qus and coordinator of the Coptic and Ethiopian churches relations. HG Bishop Lucas the Ethiopian is currently visiting Cairo to check on his children residing in Cairo, where he held Mass prayers and ordained a new priest for them and held a general meeting at the Coptic Cultural Center in the cathedral. He also visited a number of Coptic monasteries and churches.
