The Coptic woman tell Bishop Makarios the details of stripping off her clothes and beating her: Police refused to file a report

On Wednesday, May 25, 2016, HG Bishop Makarios, bishop of Minya, met the elderly lady who was humiliated, in El-Karam village, She is a pious elderly lady , her eyes look sorrow and sad, but conscious and tactful.
The statement of the archdiocese added , she said, while fighting back her tears, that the mob took her out of her house and then stripped off her clothes and dragged her in the street, and infringed her and brutally beat her , then molt her to the ground, than she crawled and hided under a small wagon as a virtuous lady threw clothes over her, she put it quickly and she overworked to escape from the mob and ride a transport to the city.
Ms. Souad said, she tried to conceal what had happened, like women who are raped or sexually harassed, but she did not tolerate to fighting back the feeling of oppression and humiliation for more than three days, to courageously rise up and go to the police station and testify in a report after the official reluctance to meet her request for hours, and the effects of severe beatings were still displayed on her body.
Souad says she did not see the lady who covered her, and she does not know how she escaped from death, also she denied that she have been raped, and she said she did not make any mistake and she has demonstrated courage and recorded all what has happened.
In a related context she reported that she and her husband had gone to the mentioned police station  from 4:00 pm to file a report after  discovering the theft of their home, but the officer in charge  threatened them and expelled them, and then four hours later the disaster occurred.
She concluded her speech and tears shed from her eyes that she tolerate that thankfully, and she forgive those who abused her, although she trust that God will avenge her in time.
The Governor of Minya, with all the security leaders, told Bishop Makarios they insist to arrest all those involved in the incident and bring them to justice.
