The Coptic Orthodox Church, headed by His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the see of St. Mark, condemned the brute terrorist attack that targeted police officers in Sinai.
In a statement yesterday evening, the church consoled the martyrs of the country, the righteous men of Egypt, praying to God to give their family patience and condolence and heal the injured.
“Egypt support Egypt’s army and its brave police in their just and victorious war against terrorism and the evil forces that target the nation’s capabilities, security and stability” the statement said. “Egypt live strong and secure, protected by God with the sacrifices of its steadfast sons and the unity and cohesion of its great people.”
