The Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, headed by HG Bishop Ermia, General Bishop and Center head, held on February 16, a memorial service for Dr.Eng. Deacon Fakhri Sadeq Professor of Coptic Language and Deputy of Coptic Language Department at the Coptic Studies Institute and a member of the Institute’s Board coinciding with his 40th day departure anniversary.
The memorial service was attended by professors of Coptic Studies Institute, some of his students, headed by Professor Sami Sabri Shaker, Dean of the Institute, his family, relatives and friends.
The ceremony was also attended by monk Timotheus Ava Mina, on his own behalf and representing His Grace Bishop Kyrillos Ava Mina and the monks of St. Mina Monastery in Mariout.
At the end of the ceremony, the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center presented a certificate of appreciation to the family of Dr. Fakhri Sadeq for his efforts in serving the Coptic Orthodox Church and enriching its libraries delivered by HG Bishop Ermia and memorial photos were taken.
