Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, headed a high-level delegation, to St. Mark Cathedral in Abbasiya to offer condolences to His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the see of Saint Mark.
The Grand Imam expressed sincere condolences to the innocent victims of the dastardly terrorist incident of the Petrine ministry in Abbasia, last Sunday, stressing that those innocent blood God prevented from above the seven heavens, and that this tragic incident was uncovered of all the meanings of humanity and civilization.
He explained that the target of these terrorist events is the unity of the Egyptian people,stressing that Egypt is facing a war against the dreaded terrorism and it’s citizens, unfortunately, pay the price for this war, stressing that this incident Egyptians will increase unity.
