His Holiness Pope Tawadros II officiates High Mass at the St. Catherine Church in Russia
His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, has officiated High Mass at the St. Catherine Armenian Church in St. Petersburg, during his visit to Russia, as well as distributing blessings following Mass to all attendees from the Coptic congregation in Russia.
Participating in the prayers were His Grace Bishop Serapion, His Grace Bishop Kyrillos, His Grace Bishop Raphael and His Grace Bishop Angelos, as well as Reverend Father Angelos Isaac, Reverend Father Boules Halim and the deacons of the Coptic Church.

His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, along with the delegation accompanying him have visited the Peterhoff Museum. The city of Peterhoff, the name of which signifies “The Palace of Peter”, is considered a string of palaces and gardens around 29 km away from the city of St. Petersburg in Russia. It was built upon orders from Peter the Great. It’s sometimes referred to as the Versailles Palace of Russia, as it is a site of global heritage. The city was founded in 1710 to be a country estate for the emperors of Russia, and was granted the title of “city” in the year 1762. The city is famous for its architectural monuments and palaces, built and designed since the eighteenth century.
