HH Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the see St. Mark, led the Palm Sunday mass at Sts. Mary and Marina church on north coast on Sunday.
His Holiness the Pope said that the Coptic Church remembered the martyrs of last year deadly attacks that resulted 47 worshipers causalities.
The pope also called on people to maintain innocence in their hearts, like children “who are simple and innocent”. He slammed the world in general for losing its innocence.
“Make your heart as white as palm heart,” he told the church congregation.
