On Wednesday, the Antiquities Authority of Egypt, in coordination with the Coptic Museum, launched a campaign to ward off the danger threatening the Hanging Church as well as the administrative building of the Coptic Museum.
The campaign succeeded in cutting palm trees in the outer courtyard of the Coptic Museum overlooking the Hanging Church after skewing.
This came after referring to the engineers of agriculture at the Central Administration of Gardens and Beautification headed by Engineer Yasser Abdel-Gawad, who stated that they should be removed immediately, under the guidance and follow-up of the Islamic Antiquities Sector.
