HH Pope Tawadros II Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the see of St. Mark expressed his gratitude to His Highness Prince Al-Sabah Al-Ahmad, the Palestinian President and Egyptian Ambassador to Kuwait Yasser Atef for the warm reception at the airport after his arrival in Kuwait.
“There are many things and events that combine the Egyptian people and the people of Kuwait, which is a good example for all countries” the Pope said in his speech at St. Mark Cathedral in Kuwait.
His Holiness continued “I am in a great joy that our Lord arranged this visit to this beautiful country and beautiful people.”
He added that “Al-Arabi Magazine is the intellectual gift offered by Kuwait and therefore I loved Kuwait and when I came it I liked it more”
