Nader Girgis, a member of the ministerial committee to revive the path of the holy family, said that the Ministry of Tourism has allocated nearly 250 million pounds to develop Wadi Al Natroun area for tourism and to restore archaeological and religious sites within the Holy Family programs.
“The state is putting the path within its national projects. Efforts have been exerted on all levels until the path has been adopted as one of the pilgrimage programs approved by the Vatican,” Girgis told Al Watan.
