Foreword:

“The Beauty of Egypt… A Room for Dialogue” is a lecture given at Meeting Rimini in Italy in August 2011, in which we speak about our beloved Egypt which we cherish in our hearts and minds, praying for God to bless it and all its sons.

We spoke about the great unique status of Egypt with respect to the Coptic Church; it is the land of beauty “like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt” (Genesis 13:10), it is the land of wisdom where Moses learnt, it is also the land of blessing, as the holy family lived there.

Then, we presented a vision for coexisting in Egypt, its future, the bases of a Muslim Christian dialogue, in addition to the rise of the Egyptian Family House and its goals, the citizenship and democracy.

We introduce the script of the lecture to Egypt… the beauty… the dialogue, and to all the sons of the homeland which embraces us all, pleading for the Lord to keep Egypt safe and peaceful, through the prayers of the Holy Family who lived in the land of Egypt, St. Mark the Apostle and the Preacher of Egyptian homes, and His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, the 118^th Patriarch of Alexandria and See of St. Mark.

          “مصر الجمال ومساحة للحوار” محاضرة أُلقيت في Meeting Rimini بإيطاليا في أغسطس 2011م، وفيها نتحدث عن بلادنا المحبوبة مصر التي نحملها في أعماقنا، وأفكارنا فنرفعها في صلواتنا ليباركها الله ويبارك كل أبنائها.

          وتحدثنا عن مكانة  مصر العظيمة والمتميزة في الكنيسة القبطية فهي أرض الجمال “كجنة الرب كأرض مصر” تك 13: 10، وهي أرض الحكمة التي تهذب فيها موسى النبي، كما أنها أرض البركات فقد عاشت العائلة المقدسة في ربوعها.

          ثم قدمنا رؤية للتعايش في مصر والمستقبل، وماهي أسس الحوار الإسلامي المسيحي؟ بالإضافة إلى نشأة بيت العائلة المصرية وأهدافه، والمواطنة والديمقراطية.

          نقدم نص المحاضرة لمصر … الجمال …. والحوار …. ولكل أبناء الوطن الواحد الذي يضمنا جميعاً، ضارعين إلى الرب أن يحفظ مصر بكل أمن وسلام بصلوات العائلة المقدسة التي وطأت أرض مصر والقديس مار مرقس الرسول كاروز الديار المصرية وقداسة البابا تواضروس الثاني بابا الإسكندرية وبطريرك الكرازة المرقسية الـ 118.
