Dr. Ayman Abdel-Moneim, Governor of Sohag, received in his office Their Eminences Metropolitan Bakhoum, Metropolitan of Sohag, Maragha, and Monshaa, Metropolitan Markorius, Metropolitan of Gerga, Bishop Youssef Abul-Khair, Coptic Catholic Bishop of Sohag, and Fr. Shenouda as deputy of Metropolitan Pham, Metropolitan of Tema who attended to offer condolence for the martyrs of Egypt who were killed in Al-Rawda mosque attack in Arish last Friday, the meeting was attended by Major General Hassan Mahmoud Saqr, head of Security Directorate of Sohag, Major General Mahmoud Sabri, National Security Inspector and Lieutenant General Walid Hassanein,
During the meeting, the governor stressed on the spirit of love and fraternity that brings together Egyptians, Muslims and Christians and that targeting the houses of God including mosques and churches confirms that terrorism has no religion and that the target is to undermine the security and stability of the country and obstruct development in the country.
Abdel Moneim said that Egyptians stand united behind the political leadership, army and police, determined to confront black terrorism and uproot its roots and complete the march of development.
