The Ministry of Health and Population announced that 18 patients have been discharged from hospitals of Alexandria and Tanta after recovering, after being injured in the terrorist attack that took place on Palm Sunday at St. George Church in Tanta and St. Mark church in Alexandria.
Dr. Khaled Mujahid, Spokesman for the Ministry of Health and Population, said that 16 patients from hospitals in Alexandria have been discharged. 19 remain in hospitals, including 6 in the university hospital, 5 in Mustafa Kamel Military Hospital and 8 in the police hospital.
Mujahid added that 2 injured in the American hospital have been discharged in Tanta after recovering, 25 injured still in hospitals, 22 of them in the university hospital, 3 in the American hospital. He pointed out that 2 injured were transferred to Al-Jalaa Hospital and Nile Valley hospital, in addition of 20 Cases in Nasser Institute Hospital, one of them in intensive care and the rest of the cases are stable and receive the necessary treatment, noting that there are 2 injured are in burns unit in Al-Munira General Hospital.
It is worth mentioning that the number of martyrs toll rose to 45 martyrs in the two terrorist attacks, which took place on Sunday at St. Mark Church in Alexandria and St. George Church in Tanta , after the death of a man, who was among the injured who were transferred to Nasser Institute.
