Under the patronage of Anba Julius Bishop of Public and Social Services diocese and In cooperation with the Egyptian Environmental Affairs Agency “EEAA”, The diocese is organizing a campaign to preserve and beautify the environment, including a symposium, a clean campaign and an afforestation campaign in several governorates from today until 15 of this month.
Several villages in the governorates of Minya, Beni Suef and Beheira were selected to implement the initiative under the title “Preserving the Environment”.
The campaign program will include a seminar on how to improve the environmental conditions in the village, followed by a clean campaign and an afforestation campaign, in the presence of the head of the local council, representatives of the Environmental Affairs Agency in Cairo, representatives of the Ministry of Environment in the governorate, village Muslim clerc, village Priest and village residences.
