Copts of Kom Al-Lofy village in Samalout in Minya, filed a complain to the Attorney General in Cairo against the decision of releasing people charged with assaulting them on the first last July after a rumor of turning a house into a church.
They complained the file after five families escaped from the village after the release of the defendants as they throw stones on their homes, harassed them verbally and fired shots in the air to celebrate the release of the defendants, The release of the defendants decision is untoward with the law according to Dr. Ihab Ramzi lawyer of the Copts as less then 30 days passed since the first appeal from the defendants which was refused.
