The Coptic Solidarity Organization and the Middle East Freedom Forum chose on October 9 each year as a day of “Coptic martyr” which coincides with the commemoration of Maspero martyrs.
A Coptic source revealed that Coptic Diaspora will commemorate this year’s Maspero incident inside the US Congress building and celebrate the Coptic Martyr’s Day to commemorate all Coptic martyrs who have been victims of terrorist attacks.
The Coptic Orthodox Church celebrates the commemoration of Maspero martyrs every year on 9 October.
