HG Bishop Cyril, of Nagaa Hammadi, and HG Bishop Barnaba of Rome and Turin, held Apostles feast Mass prayers, at the church built in the grave of St. Peter’s in the Vatican.
Undersecretary of the Diocese of Rome, Father Theophilus AlSyriani and Sohag Diocese vicar pastor Cyril Fahim and priests of the churches of Rome, Genoa and Asti, Cuneo, Catania and southern Italy participated in the prayers. The priest of the Ethiopian Church in Rome also participated.
Following the Mass Bishops and priests met with His Eminence Cardinal Angelo Comastri, general vicar of His Holiness Pope Francis I in Vatican, and it was a good meeting as the cardinal praised the Coptic Church, that offered and still offering martyrs to Christianity with a strong faith, and asked to send greeting and love for His Holiness Pope Twadros II, remembering His Holiness blessing to the Basilica and meeting with His Holiness during is Holiness historical visit to the Vatican and meeting with His Holiness Pope Francis I in May 10, 2013.
