Church sources revealed that monk Boulos al-Rayani will be released as part of the presidential amnesty list to commemorate the October 1973 victories.
H.G. Bishop Makarios, Bishop of Minya, announced that he is currently completing the legal proceedings for the release of the monk Boulos al-Rayani.
It is noteworthy that the monk Paul Al Rayani, a monk of St. Macarius Monastery the Alexandrian in Wadi el-Rayan in Fayoum, was arrested during the crisis of Al-Rayyan monastery, before the step of legalization of the monastery and recognition during the past months.
