President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, ruled out the possibility of distinction between Egyptians on religion basis, saying: «we do not distinguish between citizens on religion basis, Egyptians have the same rights and the same duties».
«Sisi» during his interview for «PBS» channel in USA, on the sidelines of the United Nations 71st General Assembly meeting, that was re-broadcast on the Egyptian television, said that the House of Representatives recently passed a law regulating the construction of worship houses of all religions, referring to the the restoration all churches that were damaged by extremist after June 30, 2013, revolution.
He continued: «we must instill the concept of equality, non-discrimination on the basis of religion, race, respect and accept others, and we will take time to consolidate these concepts, but in the end it will be achieved».
The President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, has returned to Egypt in the early hours of Friday morning, after a successful visit to New York, during where he attended the United Nations General 71st Assembly meeting.
He also met American Presidency candidates, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump, and a number of US Congress members and decision-makers in the United States, he also met with a number of representatives of major US companies, the US Chamber of Commerce.
