Mohammed Safaan Minister of Manpower, announced on Monday, the start of employing 80 Copts who fled from north Sinai in factories and private sector companies in Ismailia governorate, and transport them from the place of residence to work place to help them.
He added that the jobs have been provided to Copts according to their qualifications, and previous experience that they gained in al-Arish before arriving to Ismailia, pointing out that head of manpower Directorate in Ismailia Mr. Gamal el-Sayed Baghdadi, visited St. Anthony’s Church and met Fr. Youssef and Fr. Botros and offered them the available jobs while other team mad a survey to identify those interested to get a job and the survey resulted that 80 out of 350 need to work.
It is worth mentioning that christian fled from north Sinai after ISIS militant killed 9 Copts in several attacks in the last two weeks.
