Cairo, Thursday, July 18, 2024 – His Grace Bishop Ermia, General Bishop and Head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, welcomed the esteemed ambassadors:

- Herro Mustafa Garg, Ambassador of the United States in Cairo
- Polly Ioannou, Ambassador of Cyprus in Cairo
- Adriana Lisidini, Ambassador of Uruguay in Cairo
- Yvonne Baumann, Ambassador of Switzerland in Cairo
- Ingrid Amer, Ambassador of Estonia in Cairo
- Anette Dorte Rigglesen, Ambassador of Denmark in Cairo
- Olivia Todiran, Ambassador of Romania in Cairo
- Samina Naz, Ambassador of Bangladesh in Cairo
- Ana Milena Muñoz de Gaviria, Ambassador of Colombia in Cairo
The meeting was attended by Ms. Justina Ramy, International Relations Advisor at the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, along with some members of the Board of Trustees and directors of the center.
The visit included the screening of a documentary film about the center’s activities and services, followed by a tour of the Patriarchal Museum and the Manuscripts Museum at the center, where the ambassadors learned about the rich cultural heritage and history of the Coptic Orthodox Church.
The ambasadors also got the chance to visit St. Mark’s Cathedral, one of the most significant religious landmarks in Egypt, as well as Boutrosiya Church, which holds great historical and spiritual value.
The meeting aimed at enhancing the understanding and cooperation between different cultures, and affirms the vision of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center in its role of building bridges of dialogue and communication between the East and the West and various civilizations.
