Muslims participate Copts in building a church in Minya .. Mayor of the village: we are all one .. And sends a message to terrorists: “We don’t fear you”
Amid joy, happiness and optimism, people of Ismailia village in Minya celebrated the inauguration of the second new church in the village in less than a year. It was built with self-help with donations from Muslim and Copts.
The village residences confirmed that in less than a year, people opened the second church under the slogan “Demolish a Church we will build two”, a message that consolidate national unity between Muslims and Copts.
In the midst of joy of Copts and Muslims in the village of Ismailia, in coordination with the security services, the Church of St. George was opened. The village’s Muslims participated in the opening activities and helped the Christians build the church to avoid going to the neighboring villages to pray as they get harassed.
