Prof. Ramy Karam Aziz works in the field of genome and microbiome sciences, that are based on sequencing and decoding DNA. With different research teams, he applied these sciences in discovering new antimicrobial & anticancer peptides from Red Sea microbes, tracking a new virus, and in screening hospitals and drug factories for different microbes.
