The directives of the Minister of Health came after his meeting on Saturday evening with Dr. Sherif Wadie, Advisor of the minister for care units and Supervisor of the Emergency and Critical Care Unit, Dr. Mohamed Abdel Wahab, Head of the Office of the Minister of Health and Dr. Imad Kazim, Director General of the Specialized Medical Councils to follow the medical situation of Atfih Center.
Wadie explained that the minister also sent a medical convoy that includes all medical specialties and will provide medical service and dispensing medicines free of charge. The cases that need operations will also be transferred to the Ministry’s hospitals and the convoy will include medical boards to obtain treatment at the expense of the State decisions directly.
Dr. Khaled Mogahid, spokesman for the Ministry of Health, said that all the medical needs of Atfih Central Hospital and the health units of the center doctors and nurses, as well as medicines and medical supplies are being reviewed, to provide them and increase the quotas allocated to them.
