A group of thugs, belonging to “Shroki” family, Fathi Shroki and three of his children, attacked using swords and knives Ayman Shehata, a member of “Qasis ” family, at Agami al-Bitash, at dawn on Friday, 8 September 2017.
The victim parked his minibus in the garage in-front of his house, when the perpetrators assaulted him, and as his screamed, his brothers and relatives came to investigate. Including: Noshi Shehata, his son, Michael Noshi Shehata, a student at the Faculty of Engineering, 22, Fadi Ayman Shehata, 16 – Maher Makar and Makram Fawzi), who were also stabbed and six of them were transferred to Fatma al-Zahraa hospital in Agami.
Police investigations confirmed claims by el-Qasis that the thugs Sherokis had attempted to exact tribute money from them, but the Qasis refused to pay up.
The Sherokis are being charges with assault of six men, and with practicing out-of-law activity by exacting tribute money.
