Boko Haram extremist militants have beheaded a six year old for being Christian. The armed Muslim men had attacked a village called Atagara in Joza on 1st June, an area controlled by extremist Muslims. Over 100 Boko Haram Sunni Muslim militants attacked the majority-Christian village of Atagara, where they ruthlessly killed Christian men, women and children with sickles, after which they opened fire on the village. Two days after the attack, the Boko Haram militants returned for a second round of attacks on the village’s Christians and Muslim Shiites, arresting John Yacoba, whom they took with them. They gave him a choice either to convert to Islam or die. His response: “You can kill my body, but you have no power over my soul.” According to the Sawt Al-Shohadaa’ association, around 200 people were killed in two attacks on the Atagara village.
