On Monday a source from Iraqi security in Nineveh province, announced that IS fighters executed a journalist and blow up 11 houses belonging to Christians in Mosul, a city 400 km north from Baghdad. Brigadier-General Mohammed al-Jubouri said IS fighters executed daily hadbaa reporter Wasek Abdul Wahab after arresting him on Sunday morning at Sukar area east of Mosul. He explained that the reporter was executed by shooting him in a football court in Alworoud area and his body was delivered to the forensic medicine. On the other hand, al-Jubouri said that IS blew up 11 houses belonging to Christians in various areas east of Mosul, noting that IS evacuated six houses at Bakr area and five houses at ElAraby area in eastern Mosul and captured the houses contents and then blow up the houses completely noting that IS fighters were using those houses as cache from international coalition airstrikes.
