The monastery of St. Moussa the black, in Al-Alamein road, warned from fund raisers fraudulents, stressing that he did not charge anyone to do so.
HG Anba Marcos, General bishop of the churches of Hadayek al-Qubba and al-Waili, and the Abbot of the monastery, issued a statement confirming that he did not assign anyone to raise funds for the monastery, and that donation are received at the monastery directly. The statement stressed that the monastery does not have any bank accounts in any of the Egyptian banks, stressing that the monks of the monastery do not serve in any other service or church outside of the monastery and the monastery do not own any other residence.
