Security forces intensify their efforts to uncover those involved in the theft of Pastor Daoud Wahba St. Mark’s Church in 15 May city priest car , The Priest car was hijacked at Autostrad road between two mountains area at gunpoint by three armed individuals who were riding a micro bus and possessing two machine guns.
Preliminary investigations indicated that the perpetrators demanded 30,000 pounds to return the car, that the theft happened at 3pm and the offenders forced Rev. David to stop the car and stole his car, his cellular and money.
Rev. Raphael Mikhail priest of Archangel Michael Church at ElMaasara , who live next to the area where the incident happened said, that pastor “Daoud”car was hijacked at 3pm as a micro bus forced him to stop, the Rev. David imagined that the offenders stopped him because they need help but he was shoked when they pointed machine guns toward him and stole his car ,cellular and all his money»He added:« Yesterday the thieves called his son and demanded him to pay the 30,000 pounds ».
