His Grace Bishop Arsani, Bishop of Holland, received in the Diocese Headquarters in Amsterdam, on Thursday morning, Abdallah Bin Abd Al-Aziz Al-Shaghroud, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabic to Holland, and his accompanying delegation. The Ambassador toured the diocese, visiting the St. Mary’s Cathedral building, and the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center in Amsterdam, making himself acquainted with the various activities offered by the Center to the Egyptian community in Holland. This visit aims at familiarization and communication between the Embassy of Saudi Arabia and the Coptic Church in Holland, in light of the exceptional historic ties between the Egyptian and Saudi peoples. Attending the meeting were Hegumen Father Yassa Thabet, deputy of the diocese, and Monk Maximus Al-Baramousy, Father Yossab Thabet, Father Pavlos Saeed, priests of the Cathedral, along with members of the Church board in Amsterdam.
