Foreword:
St. John Chrysostom is one of the fathers who enriched the Church legacy with interpretative sermons which contain the explanation of several Books of the Holy Bible.
In this article, he comments on the father apostles’ selection of Matthias the Apostle, in order to firmly establish the fathers’ conception of choosing a person to be responsible for a church, they offer the best ones found in order for God to select the fitting one via toss.
