Holy Mass for the first anniversary for the 30 Copts martyrs who martyred in a suicide bomb attack was held this morning at St. Peter Church in Abbasiya.
The families of the martyrs advanced the worshipers and deacons. In the first row were the deacons, Emad Amin, the father of martyr Verena Emad and the deacon, Peter Emad, the son of the martyr Madeleine Tawfiq. Among the women were Dr. Nermin Samir, the mother of Martyr Maggy Mo’men, and the Church congregation.
The security was tightened around the church and prevented people from entering without invitations, and forbade cars from parking in front of the church. The church distributed to the attendees the glorification of the martyrs and praise composed by the deacons of the church, and distributed pictures of martyr women wearing a crown of joy.
