The 40th day anniversary mass of the 8 Martyrs of Sts. Mina and Pope Kyrillos Church of Helwan who were killed in the terrorist attack that targeted the Church last December was held on Saturday morning at the Monastery of Saint Barsoum, the martyrs .
The mass was led by HG Bishop Basanti, Bishop of Helwan and Maasara and the participation of Bishop Botros, General Bishop, Bishop Salib, Bishop of Mit Ghamr and Daqados and Bishop Ishak, General Bishop in Fayoum together with the monks of Wadi elRayan, St. Bishoy, Syrian and Baramos monasteries.
The mass was attended by the church congregation, members from the house of representatives and a delegation from Awqaf.
HG Bishop Salib, delivered a sermon in which he offered condolences to the families of the martyrs on behalf of His Holiness the Pope.
In conclusion, martyrs biography booklet was distributed to the attendees.
