HH Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the see of St. Mark, has revealed the last message His Holiness received from Anba Kyrillos Metropolitan of Milan and Pope’s representative in Europe, before his departure.
HH the Pope, posted on his personal page, on Facebook, the message sent to him from Anba Kyrillos, two days before his departure, in which he said: I kiss your pure hands, God know your great heart and your fatherly love, He holds your right hand and all that he do is for good with the intercession of Mother of the (light) Lord permit me and bless me.
The Pope added that he understood that it was a farewell message, His Holiness responded to his message saying: “I deeply need your prayers.
Anba Kyrillos departed at the age of 65, he spent 38 of them in the monastic order, 31 as bishops and then Metropolitan.
