His Grace Bishop Ermia, the General Bishop and Head of the Coptic Orthodox Cultural Center, delivered a congratulatory speech to His Grace Bishop Makarios, Bishop of Minya, on the eve of him being enthroned as Bishop of Minya Diocese and its dependencies on Saturday evening, March 13, 2021 at Prince Tadros Al Shatby Church in Minya.
At the end of his speech, His Grace Bishop Ermia presented a “Copper Serpent” to His Grace Bishop Makarios of Minya.
A group of the Holy Synod members participated in the eve of enthroning His Grace Bishop Makarios as Bishop of Minya, as well as Major General Osama Al-Qadi, the Governor of Minya and his deputy, Dr. Muhammad Mahmoud. The executive and security leaderships, both the army and the police, were keen to send delegates, to attend in person, and to send bouquets of flowers to the Bishop of Minya to congratulate him.
