His Holiness Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark, set off from Cairo on Thursday headed to Holland to attend the European Youth Conference, which lasted until 31st August, attended by his Holiness, His Grace Bishop Mousa, Bishop of Youth, and a number of priests and youths of Europe.
His Holiness will also visit Geneva in Switzerland, to participate in the celebrations of St. Martirius, as an Egyptian saint. He will be attending the Canadian Golden Jubilee Festival celebrating the establishment of the first church there, where Hegumen Fr. Marcus serves, having been ordained by His Holiness Pope Kyrillos [Cyril] VI in 1964.
