HH Pope Tawadros II: President Sisi serious and responsible man .. and he promised and fulfilled

HH Pope Tawadros II Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the see of Saint Mark , said that President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is a serious man, and have humanitarian character , and serious character also because of his responsibilities.
His Holiness said in an exclusive interview to a website that “the visit of President al-Sisi to the cathedral after the death of Egyptians in Libya was a great appreciation from him.”
His Holiness Pope Tawadros II continued “President Sisi promised and fulfilled in regard of the restoration of churches, and that work is going on in the remaining churches, and there are churches that were restored and prayer were held in them.”
His Holiness pointed out that the word “damaged churches” carry several meanings, there are churches that have partial damage up to 10%, and other churches were completely demolished and the focus is on these churches, the churches that have minor damage has been fixed by churches and archdioceses , explaining that there is no specific numbers, there are churches completely destroyed have been completely rebuilt , and there are other churches were burned and were re-restored and renovated.
With regard to the renewal of Christian religious discourse , the Pope said that “everything needs to renew and not religious discourse only, cultural, educational and others discourses also need  renovation, It  is a required prescription in every day and apply to everyone, Christians and Muslims because the address of mind today is different from addressing minds 30 years ago .
He explained that the Church renews itself automatically to keep up with the times, and that the Egyptian Family house contributed in solving many problems.
He stressed that the idea of women priesthood in the Orthodox Church is not debatable, and her ordination in other denominations is these denominations own business and every church is free  in it’s administrative arrangement.
