HH Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria, Patriarch of the see of St. Mark announced that the church is preparing to make the chrism next Tuesday by mixing 27 kinds of oils and olive oil, in the presence of Bishops of the Holy Synod and will hold agallileon mass on Wednesday.
His Holiness added in his recorded sermon at St. Antonios monastery in Obersiebenbrunn on the sidelines of his therapeutic visit to Austria, that the church will produce 600 kilos of chrism, which is used to anoint children after baptism and consecration of churches and 300 kilos of agallileon oil, adding that the church add yeast from Old chrism to the new one, which is prepared by the dawn of Easter.
