HH Pope Tawadros II، Pope of Alexandria Patriarch of the see of St. Mark paid a visit to 57356 Cancer Hospital on Sunday accompanied with their eminences Anba Ermia, Anba Julius, Anba Bavle, a number of Priests and servants.
Management of the hospital held a ceremony at the conference hall to welcome the pope.
The ceremony started with playing of the national anthem. The Dr. Amr Ezat Salama، Trustee of 57357 Hospital delivered a speech to address the pope and accompanying entourage.
A huddle of children received the pope at the gate of the hospital.
HH Pope Tawadros II, Dr. Sherif Abu el-Naga, HG Anba Ermia and Fr. Boulos Sorour delivered a speech.
And at the end HH the Pope gave the hospital officials, the icon of the Holy Family, and the Pope received the shield of the hospital.
