HH Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria, Patriarch of the see of St. Mark, participated in the celebration of the 80th anniversary of St. George Church in alGeioushi, Shubra and gave his weekly sermon at the church there.
His Holiness, honored members of the Council of Churches of Egypt, Council of Churches of the Middle East and the guests of the Church of St. George.
The ceremony was attended by a number of the Orthodox bishops of the Church, HG Bishop Basanti, Bishop of Helwan and Maasara, HG Bishop Daniel, Bishop of Maadi, HG Bishop Marterius, Bishop of east elSekaa elHadid “Railway” and HG Bishop Marcos, Bishop of Shubra El Kheima.
