HH Pope Tawadros II, Pope of Alexandria and Patriarch of the see of St. Mark, returned to the papal residence at the Cathedral of St. Mark. He was received by a number of bishops, members of the Holy Synod and met with them.
Among the recipients of His Holiness were Their Emiences Metropolitan Bakhomios, Metropolitan of Beheira, Matrouh, the five western cities; Bishop Kyrillos, Bishop of Nagaa Hammadi; Bishop Moussa, Bishop of Youth; Bishop Demetrius, Bishop of Mallawi; Bishop Daniel, Bishop of Maadi; Bishop Julius, Bishop of Ancient Cairo churches; Fr. Sergius Sergius, Patriarchal Vicar of Cairo and Fathers members of the Secretariat of His Holiness.
His Holiness returned home on Tuesday December 12, 2017, from Vienna, Austria, after completing his physiotherapy at a specialized hospital there, following the surgery performed recently on his spine in Germany by a specialist medical team headed by Professor Michelle Meyer.
