HH Pope Tawadros II meets with a delegation of intellectuals for the second time in a year

Yesterday morning HH Pope Tawadros II met a number of Egyptian intellectuals at the papal at St.Mark Cathedral in Abbasia including:Dr. Ziad Bahaa Eddin, Dr. Gabr Asfour, Dr. Emad Abu Ghazi, Author Amina Shafiq, Dr. Nabil Abdel-Fattah and Dr. Hany Raslan, Dr. Mustafa El-labad and Mr. Samir Morcos.

The meeting was also atteded by Bishop Daniel of Maadi, Anis Issa member of the Culture Supreme Council, Rev. Boulos Halim official spokesman of the Coptic church, Ms. Barbara Soliman, director of projects and relations office at the Pontifical and Ms. Rania Naim Executive Director Coptic Orthodox Church media center.

Dialogue has revolved around the role of culture in creating an enlightened stream and mechanism of action that the church use to build awareness and His Holiness explained the nature of the church spiritual and national work
Mention that HH Pope Tawadros II is due to meet another group of intellectuals after the Resurrection feast.
The first meeting of His Holiness with the intellectuals of Egypt was held in July last year.
