The speech of Metropolitan Antonios Metropolitan of Jerusalem on the eve of his enthroning on the chair of Jerusalem and the Near East – the monastery of St. Anthony in Jerusalem

HG Metropolitan Anthonios new Metropolitan of Jerusalem and the near east , thanked HH Pope  Tawadros II Pope of Alexandria, and Patriarch of the see of Saint Mark,  Bishops and Archbishops who chose him for this position in the Holy Synod of the Church.
HG Metropolitan Anthonios expressed his delight at his enthroning ceremony at the Coptic Orthodox Diocese in Jerusalem, and broadcast by St. Mark channel of the church, by saying a “I am small for god grace and I wish that he give me wisdom and compassion to bear this Secretariat and do not hardens on my parish nor neglect them.”
HG Metropolitan Anthonios thanked Bishop Andrew Bishop of Abotej diocese where he was raised, saying: I grew up on his hands and learned from him a lot and he endured our  crap when we were young, he , added “I thank Bishop Justus, head of St. Anthony monastery , where I became a monk , who gave me a lot of love and care.”
And about relationship with Christian denominations in Jerusalem, Metropolitan Antonius said: I say to all denominations we will love and cooperate with everyone as Christ says God is love.
On Saturday,Morning, March 5, 2016, The city of Jerusalem has seen the enthroning of Metropolitan of Jerusalem celebrations with the participation of a delegation of senior church Bishops and the Archbishops of the Coptic Church, as well as the heads of Christian denominations in Jerusalem.
It is noteworthy that Metropolitan Antonios Metropolitan of Jerusalem was ordained after the departure of late Metropolitan Abraham, who died last November.
