I concluded my previous week article “Together…Towards Peace” saying that the construction which we desire is attached to “working together”, what we hope and wish for regarding confronting the adversities we face on all levels generally will be attained only through the Egyptians’ consolidation and cooperation, in particular, in the field of working for the “future of Egypt”.
Future – as I mentioned earlier – is a direct product of what we make today, it is what affects the upcoming generations in terms of bearing responsibility towards their homeland, so we shall move to the future with clear thinking and goals leading us to a life we desire for ourselves and our children, proceeding a mission and a journey of a nation which had launched its civilization thousands of years ago. Yes, we frequently take a glance at the past in order to restore a bright history which had the greatest impact on the world, yet those moments aren’t for crying and wailing over the elapsed past, which won’t return as some may think, but rather it is a glance at what our ancestors had attained from civilizational greatness at all life levels; sciences, arts and literature, so we may realize the responsibility falling on us and our following generations who would continue the journey.
It is a restoration for an entity and potentials that God granted to Egypt together with abundant good and blessings, we shall realize its role importance, and offer it our effort, work and love that will maintain its dignity and pride, and restore its leadership. We shall invest our entire efforts in construction, peace and progress, we shall not waste them in dispersion, violence and bloodshed!
Also, we cannot ignore the adversities blocking the path, yet we shall work, as many countries had lost everything, yet they were capable of building more than what they had lost! The Egyptian is capable of steadfastness; looking upon the past experiences, we can figure out the distinctive character features of an Egyptian: He is capable of innovating, learning and attaining the highest ranks of success, and this is witnessed in Egyptian characters since the old humanity history to our days in all fields, to name only a few: Pharaohs doctors had realized a lot of secrets and sciences that were discovered thousands of years later, and today we see many excellent Egyptian doctors around the world, as well as Egyptian scientists who proved their proficiency in all fields.
Not surprisingly, Thutmose III used unprecedented military tactics and maneuvers in the “Battle of Megiddo”, he is the forefather of those Egyptians who destroyed “Bar Lev Line”. And thus, the Egyptian shall take notice of his potentials granted by God to discover and work skillfully with them, and this will be fulfilled only through working and exerting efforts, for life, with all what it bears, is a set of principles that man lives.
